
Also known as a commitrol, this is a versatile piece of equipment used in food processing designed for the controlled particle size reduction of dry, paste and liquid products. Capable of standard operations such as granulating, milling, flaking, slicing, liquefying, pureeing and emulsifying. This machine uses the principle of incremental shear to ensure highly efficient comminution in a single pass by rotating the product inside a stationary reduction head at high rotational speeds. Must be checked at start-up and regularly to ensure foreign body control integrity.
