Cyclospora

Similar to the pathogenic protozoan parasite Cryptosporidium, Cyclospora (cayetanensis) is usually associated with water borne illness in sub tropical and tropical countries and in food, is mainly associated with fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs (where faecal contamination can occur in the field).
