The function of a conductivity monitor is to control the specific conductance of an electrolyte solution. Conductivity is measured Siemens per meter (S/m). A conductivity controller is typically used to maintain the correct chemical strength of cleaning solutions e.g. CIP or other wash system, but can also be used to control process flume water or wastewater.
