Good Manufacturing Practice relates to the expectation but not the methodology or procedures for the safe management of manufacturing. Good Manufacturing Practice covers many aspects of manufacturing food safely. It includes good housekeeping and hygiene together with related controls such as foreign body prevention, controls to prevent cross contamination, personal hygiene, colour coding, and allergen management.
