A sensor located in the reject bin of a metal detector, X-ray device or checkweigher, to ensure the line stops if the reject bin gets too full (and eliminating the risk that a pack contaminated with metal, a foreign body or underweight in check weighing systems gets through and packed unknowingly.) Often checked at the start of production to ensure the sensor is working as part of a fail safe check.
