This is a machine used to seal the lid to the body of different types of cans. The lid is usually made of tin-plated steel while the can’s body can be tin, aluminium, plastic or paper. Sealing and seaming is done using rollers which hermetically seal the can. Critical for microbiological safety (Clostridium botulinum) and spoilage of the food product.
