
One of the 14 classified allergenic substances in the EU., namely, prawns, crayfish, crabs, lobsters., Tropomyosin, similar to molluscs, is the main protein contributor to allergenic reactions. More common than fish allergy (and most common seafood allergy, prevalence around the 1% mark, as with fish, symptoms are highly serious.)
