Electric Fly Killer – an EFK is a UV blue light device to attract flying insects and electrocute them into trays, these are cleaned and counted by the Pest Control Technician to monitor activity and door control. Tubes must be changed annually usually in Spring to ensure they are working effectively at the times of the year with the highest number of flying insects. Also called an insectocutor.
