Electrostatic applications are used in spices and flavourings to give a fully coated effect to the food substrate at a much more granular level than a mix or tumble could give. A wraparound effect by giving a negative static charge to the flavouring which in turn fully coats the positive base product (or substrate that it is flavouring.)
