(Sainsbury’s) Hazard Analysis Risk Assessment. Available to J Sainsbury’s supply base. Normally all (but a very few) ingredients in a Sainsbury’s product must be risk assessed including all processes that occur to the ingredient. This has been a highly effective food safety model for Sainsbury’s for many years to ensure food safety and product stability.
For the supplier, it can result in extra, repetitive work and for innovation it can sometimes be a hindrance or blocker but it is has been a highly effective food safety model for Sainsbury’s.
