Metal Detector

Used throughout the food production process to detect and prevent metallic contaminants entering into processed food items. The Metal Detector emits a signal when in close proximity to metal – and therefore is able to detect a metallic foreign body in a product. Often found at the end of the production line over enclosed product. Nearly always a CCP.
