Where the product has been rejected off the line due to the presence of metal within it (if the Metal Detector is functioning and set correctly.) Metal rejected product must be checked and investigated thoroughly. The product must not pass back into production whether metal is found or not. The result of the investigation should be logged for trending purposes.
