The quality culture of a business has become more important since the incorporation of this as a clause in BRC v8. Quality culture measures the management commitment to quality and as such what the resulting attitude is to quality, safety, GMP, doing things right, pride, ownership and responsibility. This is usually evident in all departments in the quality and pride of their work. A quality culture of a business is a great indicator of senior management commitment to food safety and how well this is understood by the workforce.
