Vulnerability Assessment and Critical Control Points – focuses on food fraud as well as widens the scope to include systematic prevention of any potential adulteration of food, whether intentional or not, by identifying the vulnerable points in a supply chain. Relates to the risk of adulteration for monetary gain therefore different to TACCP. A full study and risk assessment must be carried out by FBOs to help identify and prevent exposure – part of GFSI.
