
Threat Assessment and Critical Control Points – Systematic management of risk through the evaluation of threats, identification of vulnerabilities, and implementation of controls to materials and products, purchasing, processes, premises, people, distribution networks and business systems by knowledgeable and trusted team with the authority to implement changes to procedures.
Relates to a risk of sabotage and deliberate intent to harm therefore different to VACCP. FBOs must carry out a full TACCP risk assessment, part of GFSI.
